Why You Need vFit: Interview with Colette Courtion Part 2

the ultimate intimate wellness solution

Welcome back Mamas! Part 2 of my interview with Colette Courtion, CEO and Founder of vFit Intimate Wellness solution is here 🙂

In this second round of questions, I wanted to learn a little more about why we need vFit. Let’s dive right in, shall we?

So what causes vaginal changes in women in the first place?

It’s conservatively estimated that 1 in 3 women experience pelvic floor issues that can
impact self-confidence and sexual function. Pregnancy, the process of childbirth,
hormone changes during menopause, and aging can affect the cells and tissues of the
vagina and the muscles of the pelvic floor. This can result in a lack of natural lubrication
(dryness) or incontinence issues, such as stress incontinence: accidental bladder
leakage while exercising.

And how do I know if my vagina is not “normal”?

If you are unsure whether or not your symptoms are normal, we always suggest
consulting your physician. We do believe is no such thing as “normal” as each woman is
beautifully unique. Note that there are many symptoms you may feel are “abnormal” or
too embarrassing to discuss, but please don’t be afraid to discuss them. It is highly likely
other women are experiencing the same issue! You are not alone. Even if bothersome
symptoms are thought to be normal, that doesn’t mean you have to resign yourself to
“just living with them.” Talk to your doctor about your symptoms and discuss available
treatment options to help you reclaim your sexual health.

Check out a recent blog post on our website that lists out the most common issues
women are too embarrassed to discuss with their doctors:

What conditions can be treated with vFit and what kind of results should we expect?

With vFit, women can expect to feel greater sensation, comfort, and pleasure as well as
an increase in vaginal wellness and sexual function.

Will this improve the actual appearance of my vagina?

vFit rejuvenates vaginal tissue and helps strengthen pelvic floor muscles, all internal
benefits.

How long until I feel a difference down there? How long does it last?

Women have reported experiencing results in 45 to 60 days. We recommend using your
device regularly – 10 minutes every other day. After desired results are achieved, we
recommend using your device on an ongoing basis, once or twice per week for
maintenance.

Why is using vFit better than getting vaginal rejuvenation surgery?

vFit is less invasive and is a fraction of the cost of surgery. And you can use vFit in the
privacy of your home, on your own time. Surgery should always be viewed as the last
resort.

Can I have sex right after using vFit?

Yes!

Woo hoo! That’s great news. And how long after giving birth can I use the vFit?

Doctors typically suggest waiting six weeks after a vaginal birth before having
intercourse; the same timing is suggested for using vFit.

Can it be used as a vibrator or sex toy? It is waterproof?

vFit has several sonic vibration modes for your customization; 6 with vFit and 10 with
vFit PLUS. Each mode is a different vibration pattern. Test all available patterns and
choose the one that you most enjoy. While not marketed as a sex toy, it is pleasurable to
use.

vFit is not waterproof. Use a damp cloth and antibacterial soap to clean it after each use.

vFit is available in two models: vFit, which is sold online at getvfit.com and through
select retailers. vFit PLUS is sold exclusively through professional offices. Visit our

Thank you for the interview, Nicky, and for helping more women learn about vFit. The
topic of pelvic floor health is still vastly underrepresented in part because of the lack of
treatment options, as well as the fact that this remains a taboo topic of conversation.
Women are not talking about these issues with their most trusted allies, including their
partners and their doctors. On the flip side, billions of dollars have benefitted men’s
intimate issues such as erectile dysfunction, which ironically affects one in four men, a
smaller percentage than female intimate issues.

No, thank you, Colette, for sharing your knowledge and for creating an affordable solution for women.  We needed this, there has never been anything as innovative as vFit!

Historically, we’ve seen a majority of product development and innovation come from
men. Fortunately, as more women enter the fields of engineering, science, and tech,
we’re seeing an increase in company and product launches addressing women’s
intimate health concerns. Also, more influential women like you are starting to spread the
word about products like ours.

We are at a pivotal time in history for women on so many fronts. The time for a product
like vFit is now. There’s no reason women should continue to suffer in silence. We have
technologies and solutions to help address things far more important than surface
beauty- very real issues that affect a woman’s quality of life.

I could not agree more Colette. I appreciate your time and dedication to making it easy for us to maintain our feminine health! Thank you!

And thank you all for coming back to read part 2 of this interview. For those of you suffering with any of these vaginal issues, I hope this can be a solution for you. It certainly has been for me. I will be sharing my personal experience with vFit on the blog next week, so come on back 🙂

Let’s spread the word about vFit! And if you want to get your own vFit, JoyLux has been kind enough to offer 10% off your device with code HYPEGIRLS10 at checkout! Click here to shop 🙂
