Blame it on the security guards. Blame it on the doormen. Blame it on the club owner. Blame it on the Miami Lifestyle. Blame it on society?
The reality of the situation is, these days, it’s not about going out with your closest group of friends and having a good time; it’s about looking the best, spending the most, and being where the cameras are. Everything is show, staged, and planned so the right celebs, are in the right club, at the right time, with the right people.
In your beginning stages of Miami clubbing, you’ll find it extremely difficult to get into the clubs that you’ve heard so much about. Cameo, Club Play, Dream, Mansion, Amnesia, LIV, etc. are some of the biggest, most well known night clubs here in South Florida, and unless you know somebody, or know somebody that knows somebody, you’re a celeb, or you’re a well known BIG spender… you will be waiting in an extremely long line and paying to get in; and prices vary depending on what celeb is hosting or just happens to show up that night.
Now there is one way to get into all the hottest clubs, parties, and events in Miami. Free entry, VIP, free drinks…you literally won’t have to pay a thing! It’s the best “VIP Pass” you can have, because it’ll literally get you into any and every club. This “VIP Pass” is like none other because you receive it at birth! It’s called…being pretty. Pretty girls don’t pay! If you’re one of the hottest women that walk towards that club, even if you weren’t planning on going in that club, a promoter, owner, or club employee will get you in. Miami clubs are known for their beautiful women so it’s promoters’ jobs to have as many good looking women in that club, every single night that their open.
We’re not saying this is fair, nor is it right, but we can’t blame the clubs or the people that work there or promote for them. Society has painted this picture for all of us, of how things should be, how people should look, which people are “worth more”, etc. It’s us! We are the ones that continue to absorb all of what society feeds us.
Let’s state facts: Beyonce and Jay-z’s baby was a trending topic for weeks and there’s approximately 490,000 babies born a day. Whitney Houston’s death was a top news story for weeks and is still ongoing, when approximately 1,500 people die per minute. It’s us that praise wealthy, well known individuals and put them on a pedestal.
So for all of the “okay looking” individuals, save up, work over time, and prepare to spend, if you’re trying to party at any of these South Beach clubs! And to all our pretty girls, live it up while you can!
Stay pretty, party free!
