So…. I am a kinda huge bargain shopper. I love to go to discount stores like TJ Max, Marshalls and Ross in my spare time and browse for unique decor finds. Sometimes I buy, sometimes I just snap awesome pics and share them with you! During my bi-weekly Ross I went into my favorite section, home decor, and found these amazing handmade Indian stools!
I truly love Indian decor – it is my favorite style to recreate. My personal office is a mix of Middle Eastern and Caribbean mixed with Indian elements for a more eclectic feel. The colors, fabrics, amazing woods and attention to details are all the staple features to look for when choosing this decor style. For someone looking to get starting with this style a great piece to begin with is a simple foot stool! It is a great way to add some boho chic to your room. Foot stools are inexpensive and widely available – plus you can find them for great deals in stores such as Ross.
Check out these colorful beauties 🙂
The smaller short and colorful stools were listed for just $16.99
The large round and square stools were only $39.99
I admit, I have a love/hate relationship with Ross. But over time I learned the key is to enter the store with an open mind – and go as early in the morning as possible! Keep in mind that Ross replenishes their inventory 3 times per week and the store buyers do not buy a ton of inventory so they can keep costs down. So if you see a deal today, it may be gone forever tomorrow. Historically I’ve noticed that all the Ross stores will have similar things for a certain period of time, so make sure to visit a few locations in a 2 week time span if you are looking for a particular item. Depending on what you are going for, you may have to do some digging to find the best deals. Home decor items are usually what I am searching for so, it is not as bad as someone going in for clothing. But even so, it can feel like you are walking through a tornado aftermath because the staff doesn’t typically spend a lot of time putting items back in their place. Employees can’t keep up with the store chaos, so use it to your advantage. If you see something you like and want to come for it later, put it in the wrong place and you will probably find it there again!
Happy bargain shopping 🙂
