Hype Girls Lace Up For Mercedes-Benz Corporate Run

The Mercedes- Benz Corporate Run Series gears up for their 27th annual mission, the 5K race is known as one of the largest in the nation. The first “Miami Corporate Challenge” had a mere 1,315 participants. The numbers quickly multiplied year after year with a huge leap in 2011 of 20,400 participants and over 600 companies. Today the Miami Corporate Challenge brings over 25,000 participants.  TeamFootWorks are the producers of the Mercedes-Benz Corporate Run Series. So what is it about this 5k race that continues to call a bigger number of participants every year?

The Corporate Run Series host a “Company Party” in the form of “fun, healthy food, good drink, company T-shirts, and tent decorations,” corporations invite companies they would like to do business with or are in current business with for a post-race celebration. The Healthy Message is what most corporations implement in this experience because a company with healthy employees has less sick days, higher productivity throughout the day and spends less on health care costs. Lastly, healthy competition the winners of the race are awarded metals, there is a T-shirt competition and a Largest Team competition.

The Mercedes-Benz Corporate Run gives business a chance to bond increasing morale with the hopes of instilling new fitness routines for better health and better life values all served up with a side of networking opportunity. You guessed it! The HypeGirls are lacing up their sneakers and pinning their hair to compete and of course network with the masses, tomorrow April 25, 2012 at 6:45pm at Bayfront Park.
