Billboard Music Awards – Hypest Performances
The 2012 Billboard Music Awards took place Sunday night on ABC and it was really all about the performances. Especially considering it was another award-filled night for Adele. So we have selected our favorite performances of the show to share with you, in case you missed it.
There was no lip-syncing allowed with The Wanted, which made their performance so genuine and great.

I must rep my Oklahoma girl Carrie Underwood. She did not disappoint and blessed us with her voice in a performance of “Blown Away” that gave me tornado season flashbacks.

Award for most elaborate set goes to Katy Perry. Very reminiscent of Pink’s trapeze-esque performance a few years back, but with a lot more going on in the background. This makes sense because her movie, “Part of Me,” will be released in 3D. Wow.

John Legend and Jordin Sparks paid homage to Whitney Houston with heartfelt performances. I teared up when they panned Bobbi Kristina in the crowd.

And…surprise!! Nelly Furtado is back! I didn’t love her performance, I’m only listing it because her return is newsworthy. So here’s hoping there’s good stuff on her forthcoming album.
