My son and I both have sickle-cell trait (just the trait, not the disease) and are both slightly anemic. The amount of sugar and other additives in kid’s vitamins today is actually pretty alarming. Now, there are a few brands out there being more mindful of the ingredients they use, but most of the children’s vitamins out there today are loaded with extra sugar and artificial flavors to make sure kids like the taste. But giving your kids artificial sugar with their nutrients kinda defeats the purpose don’t you think?
